The dance includes moves and technique from various other styles, including classic Indian Dance, Bhangra, Arabic, as well as Latin dance.

Bollywood Dance cemented its status in the American mainstream with the unprecedented success of the Oscar-winning film "Slumdog Millionaire" in 2008. Since then, Bollywood classes for kids have proliferated throughout the country.

Belly Dance

Belly Dance is based on one of the oldest social dances in world history, native to the Middle East and Africa.

It consists of rhythmic hip movements, deliberate muscular contractions, as well as sinewy belly undulations, all performed with meticulous coordination meant to internalize and express the emotions evoked by the music.

Despite its popularity, very few dance establishments offer Belly Dance classes for youth. We're proud to be one of the first dance studios to provide such classes for young girls in order to diversify their dance repertoire and expand their knowledge of world history.

Break Dance

Break Dance, also known as break dancing, b-boying or b-girling, is a street dance style that evolved as part of the hip hop movement among youths in the South Bronx of New York City during the early 1970s. It is normally danced to funk or hip hop music, often remixed to prolong the breaks.

Amongst kids, especially boys, break dance comes naturally, as many of its acrobatic movements are easy to emulate at their age.

Since its introduction in the U.S, Capoeira classes have gained popularity as both a technique form and a fun workout.
