Rex Marcelino

Break Dance Instructor

Rex has been breaking since 2003 and is a current member of the famed dance group Culture Shock DC.

At George Mason University, he started BreakFamous, which is an organization dedicated to the art of Break Dancing. Through his term as president, he organized periodic events and "battles" for the GMU community and beyond.

As a B-boy instructor, Rex focuses heavily on foundation, style and footwork. He is known among his students for his patience, ability to break down movements in an easy to follow format, and most of all, his contagious positive energy in class.

Rex joined the Born 2 Dance Studio faculty in 2010.
