Jose Canchan

Capoeira Instructor

Capoeira is a native of Peru, which is where he began his Capoeira studies in the year 2000.

He has since gained the title of "Instructor", which is a mid-level designation in the hierarchical realm of Capoeira, and is currently working towards his "Professor" designation, and ultimately, the "Master" title.

Jose is also the director of Candeias, a Capoeira school offering instructions for both adults and kids. Along with his performance group, Jose has appeared at various stage performances, including the 4th and 5th installments of Born 2 Dance Studio's Semi-Annual Awaken The Dancer Within Gala

Jose joined the Born 2 Dance Studio faculty in 2010.
