Inspired by a celebrity impersonation dance show that was choreographed and performed by instructor Morgan Canham and members of her dance company, this first of its kindclass pays tribute to some of Hip Hop and Pop’s most iconic female stars, including Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, as it teaches choreography pieces that best capture the essences of each of those artists, incorporating some of their most famous dance routines, facial expressions, signature moves, and of course, their music.
With each week, the class will be dedicated to a new artist and students are encouraged to don whatever costumes and accessories they think best mimics the artist’s style and persona.
In essence, for one hour every week, you will get to become that artist…or at least, become their avatar!
This class is suitable for both beginner and more experienced students.
